Hello Everyone,
I hope this was not discussed recently. I have acquired a Powerbook Duo 230 of eBay. The AC adapter was described as none functional. These original adapters have a 24V DC with just over 1 ampere. When looking for replacements, some sites offer the 'normal' 45W AC adapters which historically had been shipped with the Powerbook 1400 and Powerbook 3400 series.
I have not yet been brave enough to use one of them on a tiny Powerbook Duo as they are rated also for 24V but with 1.8 ampere.
Can you please advise: Can these be safely used?
Many thanks.
