Hi guys i got a 12" G4 powerbook, 867Mhz, love it to bits but the ram is being almost always been used up, i have swap files up to 1gb sometimes which is bad i know, i am looking into a macbook in december/jan, i just was wondering what is the maximum ram available on this machine?
currently i have the built in 128+512mb = 640mb
i found this link that says that the maximum is 640
http://66.249.93.104/search?q=cache...760LL/A)+maximum+ram&hl=en&gl=uk&ct=clnk&cd=4
and then this link that says its 1152mb
http://www.memoryx.net/12pow86ti.html
so what is it really?
and is it really worth the extra $$ to upgrade the ram or just to save the cash and use it for the Macbook?
thanks again
Zim
