I just got a brand new Panasonic Viera P42G10 and I would like to hook up some external speakers for some improved sound quality. I figured that some powered computer speakers would be a good, cost-effective option and that I wouldn't have to spring for the whole receiver/speakers/$$$ setup.
I've got a set of Klipsch Promedia 2.1's that I'd like to hook up to it, but I've discovered to my dismay that my new TV doesn't have a headphone jack or any other audio output I could attach my speakers to is a line-out.
This means that the only way I'll be able to adjust my audio volume is on the control pod of the satellite speaker. That sucks. I don't want to have to get up and reach up to where I've mounted it on the wall every time I want to change the volume!
What are my options? What can I do to make my life a little bit easier here?
Thanks in advance!
