Currently I am using a very old powered FW/USB hub that is connected to my iMac for charging my iPad (I've got all my USB ports used on my iMac). It works fine and charges when the screen is off.

I'm going to be purchasing a new powered USB hub soon, and I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any powered USB hubs on the market that sends sufficient power through the USB ports to charge the iPad with its screen on, so that it no longer says 'Not Charging'

As a side note, I also have some USB powered drives that run fine directly on my iMac, but do not get sufficient power to run through my powered hub, and I am thinking if I can find a powered hub that will charge the iPad nicely, that these drives might also run as well.

Thanks everyone.
