PowerPC Wallpapers

Here's a refreshing idea out of left field. Let's make or find custom wallpapers for our artful machines and pin them here under differing categories, so that they can be shared with everyone and the rest of the world.

The base idea is that since most of these Macs had creative, sometimes artsy cases and housings, we should gather up just as unique, equally fitting pictures for their desktops. An interior to mesh with the exterior. The right brain joining with the left.

UPDATE:

As of September 6 2019, this Wiki has been moved to the Macintosh Garden due to the constraining upload limitations enforced here. So from here on, this thread here will serve as a companion to the main resource there.

Either he / she refers to the beauty of these machines or he's / she's pointing out that someone under 18 most likely doesn't know what 'PowerPC' means. Heck they don't know what a Walkman is.

This photo was used as one of my wall photos on Facebook for a year or so. I left FB for good in Feb. 2017 but still have the photo.

Custom (or found) machine-oriented wallpapers are preferred, but that's a great shot. It fits here just fine.

The base idea was that since most of these Macs had creative, sometimes artsy cases and housings, we should gather up just as unique, equally fitting pictures for their desktops. An interior to compliment the exterior, essentially.

As a byproduct, this also gives the more right-minded folks here an excellent way to contribute to the same core goal without breaking a sweat.
