PPTP VPN issue with ML

Since I've upgraded to ML I've only been very sporadically able to connect to my work VPN prior to ML no issues it will connect but anything that I access through the VPN won't connect (outlook, VPN). It's gotten to the point today where I can't do anything to get it to connect. I though it might be the router it I can connect and use everything just fine with the iPad and iPhone.

Can you ping your VPN gateway device? Probably a private IP like 172.16.x.x 192.168.x.x 10.x.x.x etc

Check your Mac's routing table and /var/log/system.log for any relevant VPN entries.
