Hi,
I have been using Paragon NTFS to read NTFS disks and its working great (I am getting transfer rates of over 50MB/s with Firewire 800).
One drawback of using this setup is that deleted files are permanently deleted when dragged into Bin (i.e. they can not be undeleted).
Was wondering if there were any other disadvantages, I realise that according to Mr Jobs this is a crime that should be purchasable by a slow and painful death but would really like to try to keep this discussion objective
.
So do the files look the same to the applications, is the same meta data held. Are there any specific technical problems I may encounter, apart from HFS+ is a lot better than NTFS
.)?
Regards,
Ben
