Praying for a Battery App

Anyone else so anal to a fault that you require knowing every detail about the battery life?

I'm not one of those people who can look at the battery icon and accept the
[---------] status. I want to know the percentage and estimated remaining life.

For those of you out there who are able to develop apps, PLEASE make an app that is designed to do this on the iphone. Thank you.

Problem: The iPhone contains information about how much usage and how much "stand by" time has been used since the last full charge. To my knowledge, there is no ongoing record of how many times the phone has been fully re-charged. This information cannot be maintained by an iPhone App, it would need to exist as a system-level utility.

Solution: Submit a suggestion to Apple. Rinse. Repeat.

It's not possible with the SDK last I checked.


Of course once the jailbreakers get through, then it will.
