iPod Pre loading iPod

Hi there, looking to buy a friend an iPod Classic for their birthday.

I was wondering if I was able to pre load it with some of my music? Only asking as I'm almost certain that once they sync it with their computer it will wipe the pre loaded music off. Is this still the case?

Enable Manually Manage Music and you can put music on it from any PC and keep it.
