I am about to pre-order the GPS non LTE apple watch (hopefully at might night tonight) but I would like to pick up in store, do you guys know if that will be an option or does it have to be mailed at home? (I am sometimes away from my home that's why I'm asking)

It's an option you can select if you don't want the Apple Watch shipped to your home to your nearest Apple Store.
I also did a in store pickup for 8am too my card has been charged now but the order still says processing.
how did you do in-store pickup? it's not an option for me and I spoke with apple and they said that's not an option.
I believe that's the case. I placed my order around 12:12 AM (12 minutes after the online went live) and I could select Portland, OR as my pickup location. I was looking at this again yesterday and that option was gone for a new order.
If it arrives at the Apple store on the 22nd are you able to pick up a little before or after the 30 min window you have set?
To make you feel better, my pick up is Friday 9/22/17, but I will be picking up my watches on Sat.
It was a option within the first 15 minutes of preorder after I finished my order all the slots within 250 miles or more dissapeared. Then long after that the pickup option went away all together.

That is just how they have it set up to expect you instore and have your item prepped but if your pickup is later in the day and you come earlier I am sure since you already paid for it they can pull it for you and give you your item.
Anyone got an updated status from Apple? Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow, but it still says "Order in Progress". CC charge is pending. I am going down to Portland from Seattle on Sat to pick up my watches. I have never had an issue with Apple delaying my shipment so my hope is high.
Same for me. I'm picking up two watches tomorrow at my local Apple Store and it just says Order in Progress. MY debit card has been charged, but still is a pending charge. I'm assuming tomorrow everything will be finalized.

I am driving to Portland on Sat to pick up my watches. They are supposed to be ready tomorrow.
