I'm wanting to pre-order two iPhones from Apple on the 15th. Any word on if there is a one per customer limit?

I'm sure this has already been asked, sorry.

Thanks!

As I'm buying one, my wife would have to make her own account? We use the same cards to make purchases.

I just asked the Chat Support rep on apple.com (Rene M.) and she said my fiancee and I could pre-order 2 iPhones in one order on June 15th.

You both should be able to purchase one. I can't tell you about the cards though. I would try to use a different card just to make sure. :)

If you have to place 2 different orders or use 2 separate cards....how do you end up on the same family plan? you choose a plan when you place the order on apple.com ...this is the confusing part to me.

If you're setting up a new plan, especially in this case... you will need to preorder from AT&T.

No new plan for me. I just want to buy two phones.

Also, where do you chat with someone on Apple? Link? Thanks!

I didn't want to start a new thread so. . .

If I pre-order for home delivery on the 16th would that push my order back to the 25th, or will it still come on the 24th?

Thanks if anyone ever had this situation/can help!

24th

Why? AT&T has a one per household limit while Apple told me I could pre-order 2 iPhones.

Then I would ask AT&T what you should do... because I'm not exactly sure how you sign up for a plan at the apple store for two people. Maybe it's been done... but from what I read and spoke to AT&T (getting hundreds of different answers), they said one per person, not household.

AT&T's limits are:

In-Store - per person
Online - per household

I think Apple is the same....not 100%

So many bull**** answers from customer service...

I've pre ordered 3 from AT&T when the first iPhone came out and did the same @ apple and had 3 delivered to me fed ex overnight.

I'm hoping it's what I read from the AT&T memo (one per line)...

I'm upgrading two lines that are eligible... and I'll be creating a new third line via AT&T for my Mom who is coming from Verizon. So ordering two from Apple.com and Mom's from AT&T directly. That should work just fine right?

its amazing how much confusion there is to buy a damn phone.. cost, eligibility, limits.. wow, they couldn't make it any more complicated if they tried. And it doesn't help that every rep from apple/att has conflicting answers to all these questions.

I've had a 3GS for a year but I'm canceling that plan and starting a four-iPhone family plan with my sister and parents. I'm still trying to figure out how to get them all on the 24th.

Actually there's no way of knowing 100%. I think the only ones they guarantee on launch day is orders placed on the 15th. It depends on demand after that.

You think so?

I was kind of leaning towards, after the 18th then that's when the demand kicks in. Pre-ordering for only one day (Guaranteed delivery on launch) would suck

I'll have to see come the 15th.
