Pre order unlocked iPhone in store pickup, one week later?

Heya,

I'm from the UK, but I'll be in the US a week after the iPhones ship.
I'm looking to get in the US as it's cheaper and I wouldn't want to order here in case it doesn't arrive before I go away.

Do you know any stores in the US who offer in store collection on preorders, and do you know any where picking up a week after the release date is possible? Paying in advance isn't a problem.
