Broke down and pre-ordered the 32gb WIFI iPad. I did it in my local store. No money down, I will just get an e-mail when its in, then I can go pick it up. The Apple employee says people have been getting it within 2-3 days. I guess I will find out if that is true. Did anybody else do this? If so, how quickly did you get your iPad? :apple:
 
Same day! There is along story behind it but I will tell you the short one. Short story: I called the apple store and they said that they had the iPad in stock. Walked down and they didn't. I then said I will reserve one and I walked home. An hour later I got a call from apple and my iPad arrived!
 
So how long do they hold it for ? , i assume they cant sell it on launch to someone else so it means you definitely have one.

Can you preorder accessories.
 
They said they will hold it for one day. There were plenty of accessories in the store. No need to pre-order those.
