I'm at a loss for the first time in a while regarding an iPhone. Here it goes!

Currently, I'm on JOD w/ T-Mobile. JOD pricing is no longer viable and I'm ready to go to Apple to provide a zero down option. I am going to get the cheapest JOD phone w/ T-Mobile, make the payments and be done with the scam JOD became.

This leaves me available to buy my phone directly through Apple. My credit is "decent", not good. How strict are they? I got denied an Apple credit card a few months ago, but is the credit requirement as harsh for a simple phone finance?

I missed the pre-approval process, what now? Is there a chance it goes live again before the 14th? Or do I have to wait until the 14th to get approval and pre-order the phone.

Lastly, I am highly interested in the Xr. Is the return process 14 days in case the Xs Max doesn't work for my needs? There's no restocking fee I'm assuming right?

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help.

I was in your spot as well today. I have Jump and T-Mobile's iPhone program and didn't want to do the down payment anymore. So I went through the pre-approval process (after the 4pm PDT deadline) and it took about 3-5 minutes to fill everything in and the approval took less than 10 seconds to load after I hit submit/apply.

You can still get approved when preorders open, the pre-approval process was just to let people do it early and not have to deal with it during the preorder process I believe. It won't take that long to do, but I don't know if it'll affect you getting what you want on launch day.

It will certainly go live again before the 14th. The credit it not through Barclay Bank (the ones who offer the Apple Credit Card). The credit line goes through Citizens Bank. I'm not sure how strict they are, but they are definitely easier than Barclay Bank (Apple CC).
