iPhone Predefined answers in iMessage with 3D touch

When you got into iMessage and peek a conversation with 3D Touch, and pulls the conversation up. Then you get three predefined answers which vary depending on conversation. Can these be modified?

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like you can do that.
The responses are generated like in apple keyboard based loosely on the context. It works fine in either or cases but not much use otherwise.

I get the same predefined answers for every conversation and the last one says "Custom"

No. Not the exact same for every conversation. They are different from one to another.
Tapping "custom" goes straight to conversation, and you can reply as usual.
