iPhone Preferred XR Camera App?

Just unboxed my iPhone XR and was intrigued by the posts (ads? spam?) for Halide that allow it to perform Portrait Mode on non-humans. Are there other camera apps for the XR that also do this, or did Halide crack the code? Have a preference, other than the native app, for a 3rd party camera app?
