I just recently got around to updating premier pro cc to the newest 2019 version. I converted an old file like I usually do with a new version and everything was ok (also tried a completely new project built in the 2019 version.) It all seemed a little laggy, but I didn’t think much of it at first. When it got time to export, it ended up taking me over 15 min to export a 5 min 1080 video. An identical video took me about 2 minutes to export on the previous version.
Anyone especially experiencing lagging or long export times with the new version? It seemed to be a big complaint in some adobe forums I read, but I didn’t see many solutions. I am using a 2017 5k iMac with a 4.2 i7 and the 580 graphics card.
My current solution has been to reinstal the latest 2018 version and use it instead of 2019, which will work fine for me, but I’m curious if it is a common problem or just some isolated incidents.
