[EDIT] I have spoken with adobe and I can upgrade the memory slots to 8GB which apparently will be enough for basic editing, though might run slow if I start to layer things. They have suggested I upgrade the Graphics card too if I can, about to look into that now. leaving this up in case anyone else has anything additional to add. Thank you.]

Hi there,

I didn't check the specifications for Adobe premiere CC - my on MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) does not meet minimum system requirements. Is there any way I can make this work, e.g:
  • upgrading the memory slots to the maximum x2 4GB
  • external hard drive
  • Anything else I would need to purchase?
Here are my current system specs:

processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
Display spec seems ok

Eternally grateful to anyone who can help.

Thank you
