Hello guys,

I'm thinking about buying a MacBook (2.0ghz with 2GB RAM) - now it seems I can't shove a 3D accelerator in there, so, Intel 950 for me.

My question is: How does Premiere Pro 2.0+ (CS3 Beta?) perform on the MacBooks (on Intel 950 GPU)? Anyone has any experience with it?

Please note, Bootcamp will be used, hell, i might just format and install WinXP :]

I'm not planning on using HD footage, only SD DV

Same goes for After Effects... naturally it is more intensive, but, question is, how reasonable does it run...

That's pretty much half the things standing between me and a Macbook :)

Meh

I'm leaning towards buying a MacBook Pro

First thing I'm doing is un-installing or dualbooting Windows :<
$2000.... pfff
oh well, gotta pay for Sexy

Cheers ^_^

ewwwwwwww premiere.

get final cut (even express). it makes premiere look like a child's toy.

I might get into Final Cut Pro, but, truthfully, thus far I enjoy the package Adobe presents, Premiere Pro, After Effects, SoundBooth, OnLocation - a very complete system...

I'll get to FCP when I get the chance...
