Hi,

I'm going to Hong Kong tommorow and plan on picking up the new macbook AIR while i'm there. Now I'm wondering if it is possible to get the maxed out 13" i7 version at a premium reseller. Do they stock the maxed out builds? If this is not possible, can you ask a prem. Reseller to order a maxed out AIR at their shop?

Also, is the i7 hyperthreading going to benefit someone who works with 2/3 Adobe CS5 apps (mostly PS/Illustrator) open at a time? I mostly want the i7 for resell value.

Reasons to buy overseas for me: HK price for the new AIR is around 300~400$ cheaper compared to Europe and Apple warranty is worldwide! :)

Tips and advice on shopping overseas are welcome!

I'm interested in know this as well. The warranty is international means that when i bring in to an apple store in canada to fix/exchange it can be done too right?

Oh and I won't like to know if the educational discounts work with these premium resellers or not?

It might not help as much as you think it would. You really think it will increase the resale value??
