I'm in Canada, and preordered my iPad on May 16, after the delivery time changed from May 28th to "ships by June 7." Obviously would really love to get it before June 7th (or whatever day it'd get here if it shipped on the 7th), though.
Do you think the "by" means that's the absolute latest any preorders between the 12th and the 27th will ship, and the earlier preorders will ship sooner than the later ones? Or do you think they'll just ship all of them on the 7th? Is there any precedent for them going one way or the other with past products? (I've never preordered an Apple product before--it's very exciting!
