Preorder delivery

I just completed a pre order with best buy and it guarantees a shipping date of 6/13 and delivery date of 6/14. Do these items ever ship early and actually delivery on the in store release date (6/13)?

Possible, but not probable. This doesn't seem like a past Apple rollout where the was a strict pre-order date/time and a strict shipping day since they opened up ordering right after the WWDC and a shipping "next week" time.
