When I picked up my Pro 10.5” in July, I went with a cellular model this time. At the end of next week, I plan to take a trip out of state. Not knowing how well my hotel’s WiFi will be, I wondered if there are any prepaid data plans for a day at a time or how that works with the iPad?

I’d prefer not to get a contract, and I will only be out of town for a few days, so getting a month’s worth of data would be overkill. Anyone have any thoughts?

Carrier? You can sign up for Sprint and T-Mobile directly on your iPad thanks to the embedded SIM. I think T-Mobile might be running a $10/5GB promo specifically for iPads with new sign up.

Might want to grab a Verizon or AT&T SIM from Apple Store, too. You can sign up with AT&T directly, too, but they used to lock the Apple SIM to their network when you sign up with them. Verizon doesn't support eSIM.

I bought a T-Mobile 5GB/$10 on my iPad Pro but I couldn't buy a Sprint Mobile Pass, the transaction would not complete.
