Other Prepare for a boatload of “post your screen time” posts

IOS is an amazing update. One big addition is the screen time information it provides. I have a feeling iPhone forums will become filled with “I only got X hours screen time.. is my battery bad?!” I have seen this for years on every android forum I have been on.

I can honestly say iOS 12 is the best update I have ever received on any phone. My wife is clueless on this stuff, and even she noticed how much better her x ran and is loving the new additions. I decided to cancel my OP6T order and I put $2500 into an account for next year when I get myself and my wife a new phone. I might even gain a few bucks interest to buy a case and a screen protector for my 2019 phone. Thanks to people like FFR and Newton’s Apple on here for showing me the light.

I am interested, I’m just saying I think this topic will be huge. iOS has never had a way to track screen time before this. It’s always a very big discussion point on android phones. There are just so many variables such as usage style, service strength, brightness, lte vs WiFi.

That's true. Hopefully people will keep it to one thread instead of millions of threads about the same issue lol.

New people who join the forum just to ask if their battery is bad will most likely not search before posting. That’s just how it goes.

Back when I had my OnePlus 5, the forums were unbearable with all the threads!

I pre ordered a Max. But if ios 12 helps with the speed and subpar battery life, I may just hang on to my 7 Plus another year or two

It made my 8+ and my wife’s x feel a lot better to be honest.

Don’t really plan on paying attention to screen time.

I’m not on my devices much for it to be an issue..

Hell, I haven’t even downloaded Siri shortcuts yet.
