I'm wondering what everyone is doing to prep their iTunes library for Match and in the end see what process has worked the best.

I've cleaned up my library with Tagalicious one album at a time. I believe these both use Gracenote to identify the tracks so the actual match should have similar results. Once I complete the iTunes Match I'll report back how well it went.

So what have you done to prep for match?

Thanks,
Victor

I Removed the crappy bitrate songs, re-ripped to lossless. This way, i wont have those hanging around in the cloud when I inevitably decide I want a better rip, as I don't know how a clean-up will work (in the beta, there was no way to delete songs already sent to the cloud)

I purchased TuneUp, which after one day I requested a refund because it constantly froze or got hung up even if I did one album at a time. I'm thinking about purchasing Tagalicious. I also deleted stuff from my library that I never listen to and did a quick delete of duplicates.

Do you recommend Tagalicious?

I'm researching this as well and have been looking at Tagalicious. Tune Up just seems to have too many bugs and it's really expensive. Tagalicious sounds like it will do what I want it to do, plus it's only $9.99! Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!

Nothing really, except ripping some old CDs. I will download my older low bit rate songs that match. The ones that don't match I will re-rip at 256.

Tagalicious worked well for me... wasn't flawless but was much better than tune up. Def worth the $10

I just went at my library with a machete.
Still at over 31k songs.
BTW is there a "when are we gonna get there?" thread, because tomorrow is the last day of October after all.

Tagalicious is very buggy and crashed often. I think it did a good job though.

FYI - The App Store version won't do lyrics so I got it directly from their website.
