Has anyone else noticed that Apple talks about "preproduction" Xserves at Mac OS X Server performance comparison page?

http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/performance.html

They also mention Xserve with 48GB RAM while current tech. specs list 32GB as supported maximum.

Does this mean Apple is going to update Xserves soon?

I am SO glad that I tabbed this thread; I was just about to post this. :D

The... "limit" isn't real. It's just the limit of affordable RAM.

Since 8GB sticks aren't really cost-effective, they're not widely available (for example, at OWC).
