Is there any way at all to get iTunes to show a visual on one screen and the itunes window on another screen? Basically I want to include iTunes visuals in a presentation, but I still want to be able to play songs on a whim without stopping the visual.

iTunes (very annoying) default behavior seems to be blanking out BOTH screens and then displaying the visual on the one where the iTunes window was.

(I've always been a sucker for cheesy graphics effects)

Um Im thinking you mean full screen but the closest I can think of right now would be to double click on a playlist you want to play which will make it come up as another window and then you can click you have the visual start playin in the first window

This would work except (in full screen mode, seeing as my ultimate goal here is to present a visual) iTunes blanks all of the screens, even though it is only using one.
I'm at a disadvantage as fara s trying to figure it out, since I only have one monitor -- but when doing presentations, I use a projector, and it's nice to be able to have the controls up on the actual monitor while the visual is on the projector. (I can make Keynote do this, but not iTunes, unless someone comes up with some magic keystroke :)) I guess I could just do it in windowed mode

Some visualizers don't work in windowed mode, though. (Of course some don't work with multiple monitors at all, but that's a different problem :)
