Hi everyone!

I've been working on an iPad application for a while now, and it's been accepted to be included in the App Store at launch of the iPad.

padBoard is a collaborative whiteboarding application. It turns your iPad into a virtual whiteboard. It allows you to collaborate with other users - on their own iPads - as you all collectively edit a document in real time.

Here's a screenshot of the application in action:

There's a video preview of the application located here.

There's more information and screenshots at the application site, peterhajas.com/padBoard.

I look forward to seeing what kinds of cool collaborative drawings everyone makes with padBoard! We'll see all of you this Saturday at the launch of the iPad App Store!

This kind of app seems like it'd be more useful with a stylus than a finger.

I got the "Sketches" app a long time ago (lets you draw with your finger) and I haven't really used it in a while because when you draw with your finger the quality really isn't that useful for anything.

While I (obviously) haven't yet tried padBoard on a real iPad, I'm very surprised at how accurate your finger can be in other apps on iPhone. For example, Flight Control feels very accurate when guiding planes in, and the volume slider in iPod feels very robust and accurate.

Either way, there are styluses available (pogoStylus is the name of one I am considering ordering) if you'd rather use one.

Let me know how your drawing experience goes on padBoard (if you decide to get it). If there's anything I can add to the application to make it easier or more accurate to draw, let me know!
