Ok, so we have a press conference tomorrow.

I dont see how apple can/will acknowledge there is a problem unless they have already implemented the (silent) fix on current shipping phones (which some people believe has happened).

If they havent done a silent fix then surely they wont acknowledge the antenna ass being a problem as they have and are carrying on selling the iP4. If they know theres a problem sales should be halted until fixed.

The only other options is perhaps theyre happy to carry on selling (until fix is implemented) as the fix is trivial and can be done if people wish at an Apple store post purchase.

Im not sure which option I think will happen based on this...

I cant see them admitting a fault based on this, but it will be interesting to watch it play out.

Apple will continue to sell the iPhone4 with no delays in manufacturing (except the white ones but thats a different story as you know).

That would imply they dont think the antenna is a problem then, or there has been a silent fix already.

Apple is in deep this time. A position so foreign to them, there is almost no chance they will ever be the same again. While there is no doubt they will continue to sell & profit, the question is... How well will the competition capitalize on this opportunity?
