Just as I have been finding touch unlock very smooth past 18 mths,

I'm since finding ios10 I have to press the home button?

Is there any way of going 1 touch to unlock iphone6 screen.

This didn't really need another thread. But yes you can still do that in iOS 10. Press the Home button to wake the screen, keep registered finger on the Touch ID and it will go to the Home screen like it always has.

The lock screen has two states now. Unlock means just that, so you can interact with notifications or widgets. Open is just that, the phone opened and on the Home screen.

Not like it always was -my home screen shows with unlock symbol top of screen -I continue to hold and have to press home button down to access iPhone.

It's since started to work after a re start, thanks for your advice.
