Hello

every time I open safari and search something in google i get a notification asking me to install google chrome, it is annoying that i have to close it to type something into the google search, is there a way to stop this from happening

i have the latest build of safari on os x 10.11.2

just want to block this annoying notification

Several options:
  • Make sure you enable and keep the cookies for that website
  • Use an ad blocker and manually add this popup
  • Use a different search engine (DuckDuckGo!)

There's no great way to block it, but if you just enter your search in the address bar of a Safari window, rather than going to google.com, you won't see it.
