Preventing MobileMe From Adding Last Name?

So I have my iPhone and two computers all syncing my address book over MobileMe and all is working very well. The one little issue that I'm having is that it actually keeps figuring out how to add my sister's last name whenever she sends me an email. I guess she has her full name set up through her ISP and when MobileMe realizes that I'm getting mail from a contact of mine whose last name I don't have in my phone it goes ahead and adds it for me. It's kind of silly but I just don't really want her last name to show up when she's calling... feels too formal. Anyone?

im having that same issues. i dont want any last names in my contacts list. how can this be stopped?

Mine started doing that with 3.0 and it's really annoying
