I have received a scanned PDF document in which letter-sized pages were scanned as legal size. I want to crop the PDFs get rid of the extra 3" of blankness at the bottom of each page. Is there a means of doing this in Preview? If not, any suggestions? Thank you.

Crop or rotate a PDF in Preview on Mac
In Preview on your Mac, crop a page to hide content, or rotate it to change its orientation.

I'll second that - Very easy to do using the crop function in preview as mentioned above by AlteMac
