I see in Preview you can save to iCloud. I saved a couple of PDF's but I don't see them on the web interface and of course no way to see them on my iPad/iPhone (that I know of). Is this a iOS 6 beta only feature? If not what is the point since you can't access Preview files from iCloud except on your Mac?

There is no "Preview" app for iPhone so no surprise there.

It's really for Mac To Mac iCloud sharing, I believe.

Almost everyone who owns a Mac also owns an iOS device, but the percentage of dual Mac owners is a much smaller number. Sure would be nice if Apple would add a Preview App for iOS devices so we could use this iCloud feature, especially being able to easily add/view PDF files. Also seems a little strange and confusing that there's no way to see these files in the iCloud web view.

That is the baffling thing about iCloud docs, no web access. Until they add it I will keep using Dropbox so I can drop and see/use my documents and files anywhere on any device.

True but at least you can see/verify and delete/duplicate/download all iWork files but you can't even see iCloud Preview files. So in effect you could use a lot of your iCloud's storage space saving Preview files and not be aware of how many are there since you can't see them in the web interface.

I think Apple is developing something for preview

Guess there will be an icon in icloud.com soon.

It is really weird. I had an App called 'Save to Cloud", which let use put files in iCloud. The App was pulled by Apple about a year ago.

If the preview going to an dropbox/google drive kind of thing, I really disappointed about Apple.

Is this still the same limitation in Mavericks and iOS7? Basically...

- now web access to PDFs
- no access from iOS devices

right?
