behind you!
I just downloaded the new OS version and preview no longer closes al open windows when the source file is moved as it used to. Sometimes i have loads of images open and the only way to close them all seems to spend ages manually closing each one. When i try and just quit the app, the machine freezes for up to 10 mins. Am i missing something?

Never experienced that myself, but I think that if you Option-click the close box it should close all the windows at once. At least, other programs behave that way. Another tip, if you open a lot of images at once, you can select them all in the Finder and do a Cmd+O. Then Proeview will open them all in one window and you can pull out the drawer on the side to cycle through the different images.

What do you mean by moving the source file to close a window? I'm not sure we're on the same wavelength but to close all windows in an app I press COMMAND-OPTION-W. Maybe repair permissions if quitting Preview is freezing the system for you. Or buy more RAM. :)
