Hey all. I used to use Preview to talk to my Epson scanner all the time, until Monterey. Now, Preview shows the scanner in the "Import from Scanner" menu item, but when you select it, the scan window pops up but says "Scanner not Available". If I go directly to the System Preferences/Print and Scan menu item, I can scan just fine from there. I don't mind doing it that way but going through Preview gave me a few more options for saving the scans, etc.

I have rebooted, removed/added the printer/scanner, made sure Epson software is updated... All the good things

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks!

Does Image Capture show the scanner?

Which scanner?

Have you check the Epson site for any driver/firmware updates/

Interesting... Yes, Image Capture can access the scanner. Hadn't used that before. Maybe that's where I need to go now. Was just convenient in Preview as it's open frequently.

Epson WF7710 series

Yes, firmware is current on scanner and Mac, as is Epson software.

Thanks for the Image Capture suggestion.
