When using Preview to view photos there are some problems:
Even if you close down all open pictures and Quit Prieview the next time you use Preview the photos you had open before are still there.
Photos that are supposed to open by themselves are sometimes combined with others, sharing the same side bar even though I have things set so that each should open separately.
Preview worked like a charm until last fall, one of the MAC OS updates seemed to start the wierdness.
