It's been quite some time since I programmed in HTML and when I did I used UNIX. I just wrote a file with HTML in Word on my Mac and saved it (as a text file) to a folder named "html" in my documents. Now, I would just like to view it in a browser. When I open it from Safari, it just shows me the text file. It doesn't seem to "read" it I guess. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to make sure that the filename ends in '.html'. The just double click on it and it should open in Safari. Or just drag the file over Safari in the Dock.
