With the 10.10 update, when you invoke Preview, say because you want to use the option "Take Screen Shot", you must first figure out where or how to get rid of the automatic Finder pop-up window that now blocks the view of the original screen shot you had in mind!

10.10 is proving in many ways to be a downer. Little changes here and there, to gain nothing!

Okay - just figured it out. You hit the "Done" button to get rid of it. What should have happened was, the moment I chose "Take Screen Shot", the opened Finder screen should have self-removed.

It may have taken ONE EXTRA CLICK, but that in itself speaks of user-unfriendliness. The idea is to cut out as many user clicks as is possible, to streamline our experience.

Unlike previous versions, now, when you hit Preview (in the dock, to invoke it), the Finder window pops open.

What I meant by "Take Screen Shot", was (not the entire screeen) but rather, "From Selection..."! But you CANNOT select now what you want unless you remove the pop-up Finder window.

All the Apple programmer had to do was say, "If the user presses 'From Selection', then remove pop-up Finder window". Minor point, but worthy of removing the extra user click.
