Other than the faster chip and double memory, the Specs. are almost the same and $200 less.

Any other major reason to buy the 2.53GHz over the 2.0GHz ???

If you don't need the 0.53 ghz, and it is a decent but significant upgrade, there is no difference. The reason you are saving so much is because the 2.0ghz is a last gen model which IMO is fine really.

.53 is not going to be something you notice in real life. Specs and benchmarks will be nicer but you're not buying something to run benchmarks all day are you?

Double the memory for $200 is double the price that if you do it yourself, however, you void your warranty technically. You can install a larger drive and more memory if you wish, but if there are any signs of this happening then Apple will void that warranty for you. I've done it and you cannot tell. Knock on manufactured wood that if I ever have to take it in that I can get the drive and memory out with success of not showing any signs.

I would not say that $200 is worth the price bump for me knowing that I can install my own RAM for $60-100 more.

Mine is used primarily for web surfing, hulu, plex, netflix streaming, and some iTunes content as a HTPC.
