Did anyone else notice that Crucial has bumped up the price for MacBook RAM. Is this simply increased demand pushing up RAM prices, or is there a difference in the RAM from last week?

Also, Crucial has a different price for RAM that goes into the 2.0 MacBooks and the 1.83 MacBooks, even though the RAM has the same specs. Is there a difference in RAM for the different MacBook processors that I am not aware of?

No there is no difference between the two. And nothing to justify the increase in price.

They are just trying to cash in on the mindless drones who pay double and sometimes triple for the same RAM everyone else has. Simply because they have no idea and they "trust" Crucial. Smart business? Yes. Cool? No.

I clicked both links and the prices were identical in both.

It has changed since I posted it yesterday. Perhaps someone from Crucial reads the boards. Yesterday, the RAM for the 2.0 MacBook for 2 Gigs was something like $384.
