Price Drop on MBP

I'm definitely a newbie to these forums.

I was wondering if you folks expect the current mbp to drop in price with a new line of pro notebooks. It seems logical to me, but you may have seen different in the past. I see that the low-end model is already dropped to 1844 with a rebate.

As a sidenote, any recommendations on where to buy reliable second hand current generations would be great.

you could use the apple refurb store. theyre sold by apple so thats really reliable.

well, for the prices at the apple refurb store, you might as well go to amazon and buy them new. they're the same price as education discount (w/ rebate) and plus you don't pay tax so its actually cheaper... unless you live in delaware or someplace where there's no tax.

Best thing to do is wait until the new updates (which probably wont drop in price) then by the current model from the apple refurb store you basically get a 20%discount on a new (but minutely outdated) bit of technology!

Don't hold your breath- like ^^^ said, buy refurb if you want a discount.
