Hey guys,
I just managed to sell my mac pro 1.1 for £1100. Do you guys think thats a good price? 8 gigs of RAM. 2006 model.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A5274d Safari/7534.48.3)

You did well.

Sounds like you found a real sucker. I've been thinking of selling my 1,1 and have been watching eBay auctions. I saw one go for $1200, but most go for less than $1000.

You did extremely well, I got a 3,1 Octo (2008) with 14GB of ram off eBay a couple of months ago for £870.

great i thought so.

i gave him all the specs / serial number etc. so its a fair cop! :)

im now deciding to put that money to a top of the line MBP (c£2300) or a mac pro 8 core (as i already have a cinema display.)

mostly making music in my studio.. i think the mac pro is the best way.. it's just i've got the usual.. should i buy.. "now" dilemma

thanks guys..

and p.s

I used GUMTREE in the UK.. and I spent £5 bumping to the top for two weeks.

cheers all!
