Hey fellow devs i have been asked to quote a price for sites to the level of http://21stcenturyheating.com/index.htm . The sites are usually going to be static and pure html only but i feel i will most likely develop them with ruby on rails or php as there better for the client.
Any pricing estimations you can think of please i am not sure of what would be considered a suitable pricing scheme.

well I usually like to charge an hourly rate.
So, I would recommend guessing how long this site would tell you, and then basing it off of that.

I would charge around $5000 USD for everything, including logo, pictures, ect.

I would charge about another $1000 for the CMS.

Note: There are other things that I would add to this for this price. Small logos for things, and other basics.

$500~$1000 for the general design
$15~$50 for each static page after that
$500~$1000 for some kind of custom CRUD product listing.

Thanks for the advice guys, however i don't believe prices in US$ translate well to £ Sterling as the markets are so different. But thanks a lot of the advice.
