Hello, could someone give me a simple answer or point me in the correct direction.

I want to create PDFs on my iPad, like you would on a Mac, just print the document to PDF. Is this possible?

I have some apps which support AirPrint, so ideally some form of app that allows me to create a 'virtual' printer to create the PDFs... I found some old article about an app, but it doesn't exist over here in Belgium.

So! Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

It's very easy to do with iOS 9. You don't have to 'Print' to pdf.
All you've got to do is access the share menu, and use the option 'Save PDF to iBooks'
You're all set :)

BRILLIANT! Although this 99% solves my problem...I'm slightly stuffed with the 1% of my one app which only allows printing (MusicNotes), no sharing. Is there a way to work around this?

Thanks

Does it allow third party printing apps? In which case Printer by Readdle has a PDF option..

The only option that opens is the direct AirPrint menu. So I have to virtually create a printer....

Only reason I am being so difficult is I have to live for 2 months with only my iPad Pro (selling MacBook and waiting for the new MacMinis if they come, would be a shame to buy now and get a kick in the ass from Apple in a months time)

I use PDF Converter by Readdle. It allows you make PDF's from most any file on your iPad including.....web pages, screen shots, word documents, Excel, Power Point, emails, notes, reminders etc.
Sorry if this sounds spammy, but PDF Converter has been a real life saver for me on more than one occasion.

Call the vendor's support number and ask them to add sharing. It's a trivial app update...

Ibooks is a dead-end when it comes to sharing stuff, I generally discourage putting anything inside because it later becomes very difficult to get anything out.
