I have an Epson Printer that has problem with ink. I have had to replace different ink cart but even if it shows one low it won't print anything like Open Office documents or pictures.

I was wondering instead of getting a new ink cart if there was something I can do in software or if not buy a new printer since this is rather old. Epson XP-330

Run the test print and keep cleaning the nozzles with your Epson Utilities, then print again. If the built-in cleaning routines don't unclog the nozzles, then the cost of a new printer is less than the cost of repairs at a shop. However, your supply of ink cartridges, if you have unused ones, will not be compatible with a new printer, so that's an added cost.

Since that doesn't clear up Magenta which is practically new and Black which is new and I am running out of yellow which is fine and Cyan is low which is also fine. I may have to get a new printer. I can still use this for scanning so any suggestions for black and white printer?

I think the black and magenta are clogged since I nothing works when I use the print head clean method. and I don't want to buy yellow since its almost out and it isn't clogged.
