Hi,

I have an iMac which is plugged in to my wireless router and I want to know how I could share the printer, which is connected to the iMac, with my other Windows laptops.

Any help on sharing the printer would be great!:)

Turn on printer sharing within system preferences and make sure both computers are on the same workgroup. Directory Access is where you change the workgroup on your mac, system info is where you change it on your PC.

After you have restarted the PC, if you hcanged the workgroup, go to control panel and add new printer. Choose to add a printer on a local network and browse automatically. If your workgroups are setup correctly, your mac and its printer should show up in the list.

Select the printer and select next. When prompted to install the printer...
****Be sure to install the printer with the Apple Laser Color driver, not the printer's driver.

Done.
