I want to print an article from a webpage without saving it to pdf. The print is very small when printing out. Is there a way to enlarge the print? Apparently on a pc it is File Print Preview, but a mac doesn't do that. Changing the scale on the print screen results in some of the print being cut off. I don't want to do a screenshot to access print preview, I want to print the article directly from the webpage.

Just some ideas off the top of my head:
- Can you enlarge the text on the browser before printing ? Does that affect the printout ? Not sure which browser you're using but in Safari or Firefox for instance, this is done with the shortcut (Command +)
- If that doesn't work, you could do Edit > Select All, then Edit > Copy, and paste it in either Pages or Microsoft Word or TextEdit. Then, within that app, increase font size, and print

Scaling is not the right way to do this. You want to increase the font size of the text. So, either do this in the browser itself or better yet (my preferred way), copy/paste into a text editor (preferably Word/Pages) and enlarge the font size, before printing.

It has to be directly from the webpage.

It has to be directly from the webpage.

Perhaps File, Print and in the default box where it says PDF click and instead choose "Open in Preview" and perhaps you can get what you are looking for that way?

Edit: Actually if you just choose File-->Print and select show details, you can change the scaling to 125% or 150% which might also do the trick.

It cuts off a portion of the page rather than adjusting the text with larger font size.

Edit: I just reread your original post and you said you didn’t want to use a screenshot. Please disregard my comment.

Then use the "zoom" feature of the browser, i.e. my first suggestion from my previous post. On Safari and Firefox, this is done simply with Command +
