Printing from an iPad to a network printer

Any ideas howto? I don't want some app that has to be running in a user account that has to be left logged in. I'm looking for a good old-fashioned print service for my Apple iOS devices, but such a thing seems to have escaped apple's vision for OS X server.

Can this be done?

I only know of Air print hackivator, but that requires a user to always be loved in.

I use this, and it was working fine, however, I tried to print something last night and it failed. I've got a feeling it's either user error, my mac mini is playing up or the latest Lion update broke it.

Worth a go.

Thanks visual, unfortunately it looks as a user has to be logged in for Avtivator to work. I'm looking for a service for my OSX server. Still baffled why this isn't just built in Server.
