Ive made a leaflet using iWork, using photos and text....saved as a PDF. Ive been temporarily printing to a laser no probs. But to save money, If i were to take this PDF to a commercial printer, would you expect this to be ok

Any ideas?

cheers

I would not expect any problems, but as a rule I always print out one original to bring to the printer along with the PDF file. You don't want them to get creative with margins.

Roger, what are you thoughts on iWork as an application? I have a sample that came with my OS App and it looks pretty interesting - I was thinking of purchasing. Do you feel it is a big step above PowerPoint etc?

thanks

I've used iWork a lot, especially Keynote and it is sooo intuitive and easy to use, especially compared to Powerpoint. There's a lot of stuff KN will do that PPT simply can't handle, or can't candle very well. Pages is also a lot cleaner and easier that Word.

For $80 or so, iWork is definitely worth the investment.

only use pages so far, but its fine, quite good for quick making of leaflets and posters ( to a certain level mind) for amatuers like me and getting quite good results, easily. I would def recommend this application alone
